Amid Dragon Cub’s chirping, Big Dragon slowly opened his eyes. Because of his enormous size, and because neither Dragon Cub nor Su Xing happened to be directly beneath his line of sight, he did not see anyone at first.
He tried to move his head to look around, only to discover that he could barely control it. This made him furious. He could not remember anything yet, but instinct told him that he should not be this weak!
“Chirp chirp chirp chirp.” When Dragon Cub realized Big Dragon was truly awake, he happily jumped onto Big Dragon’s head. As he bounced around, he chirped in celebration, looking unbelievably cute.
Su Xing’s treatment was not yet finished, but he did not stop Dragon Cub from rampaging around on Big Dragon’s head. With Dragon Cub’s small size, no amount of bouncing could hurt the thick-skinned Big Dragon. If the child was happy, he could jump as much as he liked.
Su Xing thought Dragon Cub looked adorable, but Big Dragon certainly did not agree. The little thing had climbed onto his head and was making a playground of it. How could he possibly be pleased? Angry as he was, he still could not properly control his body and could only shift his enormous head slightly.
Because Big Dragon was so huge, even that tiny movement was dangerous for Dragon Cub. Fortunately, Dragon Cub was agile enough not to be thrown off.
“Chirp… chirp.” Dragon Cub was not frightened at all. When he saw that Big Dragon could move, he began another round of celebration—by continuing to jump.
Big Dragon was both angry and anxious, but the stimulation actually helped him gain smoother control over his head. By the time Su Xing finished this round of treatment, Big Dragon could finally lift his head.
That was all he could manage, however. He had been unconscious for three years, so regaining full control of his body would not be easy. Su Xing understood that perfectly well.
His ability level was not especially high right now. With a tyrannosaurus as enormous as Big Dragon, the energy Su Xing currently possessed would require at least one or two months before he could heal him completely.
Su Xing had been desperate to wake Big Dragon for one reason: to get him eating again. After all, he had gone seven days without nutritional solution. So the moment Big Dragon could lift his head, Su Xing immediately held out some grass. “Eat.”
“Grrru, grrru.” He absolutely refused to eat grass.
Su Xing was stunned by the sound. Who would have imagined that a creature this enormous would make a noise resembling a bird call? It was completely unexpected!
Author’s Note: Dragon Cub: Chirp chirp chirp chirp.
Big Dragon: Grrru grrru.
Su Xing was beginning to suspect that he was not raising dragons at all, but birds.
