Even a saint would have struggled to endure having his thigh embraced and rubbed like this first thing in the morning.

Shao Siyan was so agitated that he wanted to hit someone.

He caught Chi Junyan by the chin, forced his head up, and enunciated through clenched teeth, “You’re fucking asking to die!”

Chi Junyan had lost all rationality. He merely enticed Shao Siyan with an unwavering stare. The corners of his eyes were flushed. Against his nearly translucent white face, the color gave him a fragile and extraordinarily alluring air.

“You want…to fuck me to death.”

Even his voice was shockingly hoarse.

Shao Siyan’s brow twitched. As if he had scalded his fingers with boiling water, he abruptly released that delicate chin.

Taking advantage of their close contact, Chi Junyan’s mental tendrils had begun growing wildly. In a dimension invisible to everyone else, they had already wrapped the two men inside a translucent cocoon.

Shao Siyan suddenly found it difficult to breathe. It was as though all the air had been sucked away in an instant. Everything in the world seemed to stand beyond an invisible barrier, isolating him and the man before him inside a cramped space of their own.

His eyes rapidly filled with blood. With extreme violence, he tore Chi Junyan from his body as though ripping away a piece of his own flesh.

Then he bent down and bit heavily into the other man’s parted, pale lips…

Breathing, struggling, a relentless contest.

Every instinctive reaction felt dreamlike.

Shao Siyan had never known that such a tedious, primitive act could be so overwhelming.

Every touch seemed to sever his connection with the world.

The two of them seemed to exist independently of the entire universe, contained within a tiny world of their own.

There was no sky, no earth, and no passage of time. There were only the two of them.

The sensation was so miraculous that when he arose again, refreshed and clear-headed, he still wondered whether he had experienced an absurd dream.

An unlit cigarette between his lips, he casually picked up a shirt from beside the bed, unable to tell whose it was. A cardholder fell from it and opened on the floor.

He looked down.

Name: Chi Junyan.

Shao Siyan reached down and picked up the cardholder. Frowning and narrowing his eyes, he carefully examined another line of text on it.

He could not understand it.

What kind of rubbish was this?

He casually placed the cardholder on the bedside cabinet and turned to look at the bed.

Chi Junyan was deeply asleep. Curled beside the pillow, he resembled a small animal that had trudged through the snow for a very long time before finally burrowing beside a fireplace for warmth.

His slightly overlong hair covered half his face, making his already delicate features look even smaller.
