Young people carried fake documents like this around without anyone knowing what they hoped to accomplish.

How old was he? Had he still not outgrown his adolescent fantasies?

Shao Siyan thought all this without expression.

When Chi Junyan awakened, no one else was in the room.

He pressed a hand to his forehead and closed his eyes as broken fragments of memory flashed before him.

His own vulnerability and the other man’s strength formed a powerful contrast in those images.

He could not help releasing a long groan.

His entire body ached. It was the exhaustion of muscles abruptly relaxing after being stretched to an incomparable extreme.

He rested for a long while before his trembling toes could finally plant themselves firmly on the floor.

He surveyed the room.

It was an intensely masculine space. The black, white, and gray color scheme looked cold and severe, as heartless as its owner.

Chi Junyan found the bathroom. The instant he stepped inside, the electronic housekeeper announced mechanically, “Welcome home. The water temperature has been adjusted.”

This was quite similar to his own world.

He studied the bathtub for a long time but ultimately chose to shower.

He was exhausted. With no one nearby and only a mechanical housekeeper present, soaking in a bath could easily lead to an accident.

The stream of water struck him with such coldness that he shuddered.

Feeling around, Chi Junyan manually raised the temperature.

The mechanical voice chimed. “Preference recorded.”

Hot water wound over his body and washed away the stickiness.

After showering for a while, his legs weakened until he could barely remain standing.

He looked around. Like the bedroom, the bathroom was cold and austere, without a trace of human warmth.

There was no chair and not even a handrail he could use for support.

Afraid that the heat would make him faint if he continued, Chi Junyan washed himself hastily, turned off the water, and stepped out.

He picked up his clothes to dress, only to find that they had been torn beyond use.

President Shao truly was wild. A blush spread over Chi Junyan’s delicate face. He silently removed the belongings from his ruined clothes and set the garments aside to be discarded.

Leaving the room naked would be indecent, so he could only find the plainest-looking shirt in Shao Siyan’s wardrobe and put it on.

As for trousers, Shao Siyan was nearly ten centimeters taller. His size would not fit Chi Junyan.
